From here you have a magnificent view of the surrounding countryside and further towards Monte Argentario and the island of Giglio.

There are numerous forts and ancient towers in the surrounding area and three historic fishing villages: Porto Ercole, Porto Santo Stefano and Orbetello. The nearby Maremma area offers excellent food and wine and Etruscan sites.

Olive groves, vineyards and cypress trees adorn the soft hills of the surrounding area, inviting you to take a relaxing tour by bike or go hiking.

Rome Fiumicino International Airport is about 138 km away. There is also a train station in Orbetello with good connections. Grosseto airport has space for private planes and is only 45 km away by car.
